The next ride of the Chicago Randonneurs March Rouleur Series departs from the Two Brothers Roundhouse in Aurora, Illinois.
An 8:15 AM start makes this ride especially city-friendly, allowing riders to arrive via Metra and take advantage of restrooms and coffee before rolling out. From Aurora, the route follows a pleasant, low-traffic loop through northern Illinois farmland—calm roads, steady pacing, and an ideal setting to settle into a rhythm.
Highlights along the way include a pass by the Egyptian Theatre in DeKalb—and you truly can’t miss the bright yellow Burger Naan next door, a favorite landmark whether you’re riding through or stopping to refuel. The route also features the club’s first official Casey’s pizza stop of 2026, a proper Midwestern endurance rite of passage.
After the ride, return to the Two Brothers Roundhouse to celebrate your achievement with food, drinks, and good company as we close out the March Rouleur series together.
